We’re looking for someone to fill the following positions:

Job Title: Pharmacist

Location: Lagos

Job Summary

Our pharmacist will supervise procurement, manage supply chains, and administration of high-quality drugs to

patients across the country alongside teams of pharmacy technicians at numerous sites.

Metrics relating to pharmacy program efficiency and patient satisfaction are measured, monitored, and improved by the pharmacist.

The ideal candidate will be a self-assured analytical thinker with data entry and analysis abilities, as well as the capacity to teach and train other health care professionals.

Job Description

To optimize value and avoid waste, use data on prescribing practices to develop and maintain a formulary and inventory.

Participate in the development and optimization of IT systems for pharmaceutical order entry, filling, and dispensing in order to increase staff efficiency and reduce wait times.

Ensure that the department is adhering to professional standards as well as legal and regulatory obligations when it comes to purchasing and storing pharmaceutical inventory.

To improve pharmaceutical quality and care, identify, measure, monitor, and improve critical parameters.

Oversee infection control protocols and documentation for medications and consumables (e.g., personal protective equipment [PPE], needle recapping).

Create systems that will increase production, efficiency, and customer happiness.

Changes and modifications to pharmaceutical strategies and policies should be communicated.

Manage unfavorable behaviors, safety incidents, and other actions that have a negative impact on pharmacy quality.

Requirements

A bachelor’s degree in pharmacy from an authorized college is required.

Clinical experience in a clinic, hospital, community, or retail setting for 0 to 1 year following NYSC.

PCN authorization

Expertise in providing basic care counseling and education to children, adults, and antenatal/postnatal patients.

Expertise in chronic illness counseling and education, including hypertension, diabetes, and peptic ulcers.

Experience managing big data sets with Excel, Stata, or other data software as part of a research or data analysis project is a plus.

Experience managing a team that includes technicians is a plus.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, particularly Excel.

Data gathering, analysis, and review skills are required.

Excellent communication skills.

Ability to explain medical concepts.
